Character
Back in Black opens with a bright orange note that carries a faint earthy edge from truffle. Orchid sits beside it and softens the citrus with a smooth floral touch. The start feels fresh and slightly unusual, moving between fruit and soil in a way that stays light on the skin.
The heart gathers lily-of-the-valley, jasmine, neroli, rose and iris into a dense white floral bouquet. Powdery iris leads the group, while neroli adds a clean lift and rose gives a gentle sweetness. Patchouli and vanilla enter from the base and warm the flowers without weighing them down. Amber and musk round the blend and keep the finish soft rather than sharp.
The overall character is sweet, powdery and floral with a clear vanilla presence that deepens the petals. It suits a warm morning walk or a bright afternoon outdoors, when the air feels clear and the light is strong. The one drawback is the truffle note, which can read as slightly muddy against the clean white flowers and prevents the composition from feeling completely polished.
