The air carries the sharp, juicy burst of pineapple and black currant, bright against the stillness of the room. Bergamot and apple add a crisp edge to the opening, cutting through the heavy atmosphere like a sudden draft through an old wooden door. The fruit is sweet but not cloying, sitting comfortably beside the scent of polished wood and aged paper that fills the space.
As the evening settles, the atmosphere shifts. Frankincense begins to rise, its resinous smoke curling near the ceiling and mingling with the delicate white petals of jasmine that drift through the air. The smoke is dry and sacred, transforming the lounge into a quiet sanctuary. The floral heart is soft, barely visible against the growing density of the room. Oakmoss creeps in from the base, earthy and damp, clinging to the stone walls and grounding the sweetness of the fruit that still lingers on your sleeves.
The leather finally takes hold, rich and dark, wrapping around the amber and suede like a heavy coat. It smells of tanned hides and long-forgotten workshops, a rugged texture that dominates the corner where you sit. The amber glows warmly beneath the surface, while the animalic accord adds a raw, untamed whisper to the air.
