Carved From Aoud can feel dense to the point of heaviness. The blend leans so far into its resinous core that lighter wearers may find it overwhelming on first contact. It does not offer much air or lift, and the composition stays rooted in its deepest tones without giving the skin room to breathe.
Oud and iris sit close together here, with the root vegetable note lending a powdery softness that takes the edge off the wood. Guatemalan cardamom and pink pepper add warm spicy and soft spicy touches without brightening the mix.
