Cherise Extrait de Parfum opens with a brisk snap of pink pepper that immediately meets the tart juice of black currant and tangerine. Bergamot and pear add a juicy, slightly green brightness that keeps the entrance from feeling heavy. The pepper lingers just long enough to give the citrus a gentle bite before the fruit takes over completely.
The heart shifts into orange blossom and neroli, softened by the creamy weight of jasmine sambac. This is where the fragrance begins to lean gourmand, as the white florals start to blur into the warmth waiting beneath them. Benzoin and vanilla bean rise early here, wrapping the flowers in a resinous, sugary film that feels thick rather than airy.
Amber and musk settle in to hold the vanilla in place, creating a soft, golden haze that sits close to the skin. The spice from the opening never fully disappears, and it keeps the sweetness from becoming flat.
