Jasmine and orange blossom sit at the center of Dior Addict, white and heady, while vanilla underneath keeps pulling the whole thing toward something warmer and sweeter than a standard white floral. Blackberry flickers briefly at the start and fades before the florals fully take hold, leaving the florals to build steadily without any real distraction.
Tonka bean and sandalwood round out the base, giving the vanilla grain and depth so it never turns into plain sugar. The composition leans hard into fall and winter, and the night score dominates day by a wide margin, so this is built for evenings once the temperature drops and the light goes early.
Sillage announces itself here, and the wear settles in for the long haul, both qualities that suit a fragrance meant to be worn somewhere formal rather than to a desk job. Thierry Wasser and Christian Dussoulier built something confident and a little heavy, closer to a statement piece than a daily habit worn without thinking.
