Our take

The velvet curtain parts and a small table near the back of the room catches the light. A cup of dark coffee sits beside a plate of almond biscuits, steam still rising into the cool air. Orange blossom drifts from a nearby bouquet, bright and slightly bitter against the warmth of the cup. The first impression is dense and gourmand, yet the citrus keeps the opening from feeling heavy.

Jasmine and freesia begin to unfold as the room fills. Tuberose arrives with a creamy weight that feels almost physical in the enclosed space. The flowers do not float. They settle into the air like a thick scarf, rich and slightly animalic, turning the corner of the room into a private garden that runs warm against the skin.

Amber and vanilla anchor the scene as the evening continues. Tonka bean adds a smooth, powdery depth that blends with the remaining coffee note. The air becomes sweet and golden, a white floral haze that feels expensive and deliberate. It is a composition that demands attention within the intimate circle of the room.

The density is also where the fragrance stumbles. The tuberose and amber are so potent that the orange blossom and freesia get buried early. The blend leans too far into a heavy, syrupy sweetness that lacks the lift promised by the opening. It becomes a singular, unchanging texture that can feel overwhelming.
