Our take

Fleur de Mimosa opens with a cheerful pop of bergamot and black currant, the fruitiness quickly softened by a whisper of almond. That nutty, almost marzipan edge threads through the heart where mimosa takes center stage, all honeyed pollen and powder, with jasmine adding a slight indolic shimmer and heliotrope dusting everything in vanilla-tinged baby powder. Nutmeg provides a faint spicy warmth but never disrupts the floral calm. The drydown settles into a clean, musky cedar with a sliver of amber, but by then the main act has already faded.

This is a fragrance like a spring morning seen through a gauze curtain, soft and luminous but fleeting. It feels natural and tender, not synthetic, but its character is that of a sweet, powdery floral bouquet pressed lightly against the skin. The problem, as the numbers bluntly tell you, is that it evaporates almost before you’ve registered its beauty. Longevity barely lasts two hours, and sillage hovers like a shy secret. You will need to reapply, often.

Who should wear it? Someone who wants a delicate, intimate floral for a quiet spring day, a brunch with friends, or a desk job where you sit close. Skip it if you crave projection or a fragrance that lasts through dinner. It’s a lovely first kiss that ends before you’ve even closed your eyes. Why does a scent so gentle have to be so transient?
