The combination moves quickly into the heart where cardamom and pepper take over with a dry, warm spice. The pepper feels noticeable and slightly prickly, while the cardamom rounds the mix with a smooth, resinous quality.
The base rests on amber and musk, giving the fragrance a warm, slightly animalic foundation. Rose and jasmine sit inside that base, adding floral weight without making the drydown fresh or airy. The amber pushes the scent toward a sweet, golden warmth that dominates the later stages. The white floral accord stays present throughout, tying the citrus top to the heavy base. The animalic accord in the base feels rough and slightly synthetic, which may bother those who prefer clean musks. The pepper in the heart is strong enough that it can read as harsh rather than lively.
