Fragrance notes
Pink pepper and bergamot open with a brisk, citrusy snap, joined quickly by orange blossom and a bright orange note. Rose appears early, soft and slightly soapy, keeping the entrance polished rather than wild. The top feels clean and upright, like a jacket you put on without thinking.
Raspberry enters the heart with a tart, juicy edge, but the leather here is not heavy or rugged. It reads more like a smooth, faintly worn texture that sits beside the tea note, which brings a gentle, steeped greenness. Rose returns in the middle, now quieter and more floral than before.
Guaiac wood and vetiver take over with a dry, slightly smoky woodiness, while papyrus adds a papery, dry grass feel that keeps the base from turning sweet. Amber lingers underneath, warm but restrained, and the wood never becomes dark or resinous. The drydown stays dry, aromatic, and quietly woody.
The leather and raspberry combination can feel slightly synthetic, and the papyrus note sometimes reads thin rather than rich. The citrus opening also disappears faster than the rest of the structure would suggest, leaving a gap before the wood settles in. If you prefer a seamless transition from bright top to deep base, this one stumbles a little.
