Floral Leather
Fragrance notes
Character
Floral Leather opens with a bright, tart lemon that meets the immediate bite of pink pepper. The citrus is sharp and clean, while the spice adds a quick, tingling heat that keeps the start from feeling too sweet. Jasmine enters soon after, soft and heady, and it blends directly into the powdery root of orris. The orris brings a dry, slightly dusty texture that pulls the white flower away from a fresh, dewy impression and moves it toward something more grounded.
The base reveals a firm leather that feels smooth rather than rugged. Sandalwood cushions that leather with a creamy, pale wood tone, and musk wraps the entire composition in a warm, skin-like layer. The powder from the orris lingers here, so the leather never dominates completely. White floral, soft spicy, and animalic facets sit together in a way that feels dense and deliberate, with the iris and warm spicy elements giving the wood and hide a refined, slightly vintage character.
The blend leans heavily on that powdery dryness, which can read as dated to someone who prefers crisp, modern compositions. The orris and musk create a thick, almost suffocating blanket that lacks lift or air. It is a specific, unyielding personality that does not adjust to the wearer.
