Our take

Kiss Me More opens with a disorienting blur of sweet milk and carnation, like someone spilled a vanilla latte on a gardenia corsage. The jasmine adds a soapy shimmer, but the heart quickly veers into boozy territory with cherry liqueur and red currant, a sticky, jammy pivot that feels more candy aisle than cocktail bar. Pear provides a fleeting freshness, but it’s the base where things settle into a caramel-drenched sandalwood, patchouli adding just enough grit to keep it from being pure sugar slurry. The overall character is that of a forgotten dessert on a velvet chaise: indulgent, a little smudged, and decidedly ephemeral.

This is a mainstream floral fruity gourmand, unabashedly synthetic in its sweetness but not unpleasant for it. The nose behind it, Laure Breysse, has crafted something that reads as young and eager, but the longevity barely scrapes three hours and the sillage is a whisper. You will need to respray with religious devotion, which feels wasteful for a fragrance that already leans heavy on caramel and musk. It suits a teenager at a winter formal or someone who wants a cozy hug that fades before the party ends. Skip it if you crave projection or complexity. Wear it on a cold afternoon, layered under a scarf, where its warmth can briefly bloom and vanish like a secret.
