Lost Rose opens with a sharp metallic edge that can feel abrasive on first spray. The saffron and cinnamon arrive with a loud, almost medicinal bite that takes patience to move past. This initial roughness is the price of admission here, and it is the reason some will stop before the fragrance has a chance to settle.
The Turkish rose soon steps in, softened by geranium and the dry texture of cypriol. Oak adds a sturdy, woody backbone that keeps the floral heart from leaning too sweet. Bergamot provides a brief lift, but the overall mood stays heavy and resinous. Patchouli and musk anchor the composition, allowing the scent to linger through an evening out. The sillage stays personal, wrapping the wearer in a warm spicy cloud without extending far beyond the clothes.
Composed by Jordi Fernández, this unisex release suits a night at a dimly lit bar where the air is thick with wood and conversation. It feels grounded and mature. The metallic opening remains the weak point, as that harsh first impression never fully disappears into the rose. If you are sensitive to that synthetic sharpness, the drydown may not be enough to win you over.
