Our take

Louvre opens with a bright mix of bergamot, orange, and juniper that feels crisp and clean. The fig adds a soft, slightly creamy fruitiness that rounds out the citrus without making the start smell sweet or heavy. As the fragrance moves forward, jasmine and freesia bring a light floral touch, while iris introduces a powdery quality that sits close to the skin. Cypress weaves through the heart with a green, slightly resinous edge that keeps the flowers from feeling too soft. The base rests on cashmeran and labdanum, which give the composition a warm, woody amber tone. Musk smooths the drydown and helps the amber notes feel less sharp.

The overall character is aromatic and woody with clear citrus and powdery facets. It leans masculine but carries enough floral softness to avoid smelling dry or austere. The blend stays polished and modern, moving from fresh top notes to a warmer, resinous finish. One limitation is that the fig and orange can read a bit synthetic in the opening, which may distract from the otherwise natural feel of the cypress and iris. The floral heart also stays subdued, so the jasmine and freesia never fully unfold against the amber base.
