Manjo Bee is built for the person who wants a honeyed scent without the sugar rush. The opening places tea and yuzu next to marigold, and the citrus is bright enough to lift the florals without turning sharp. Beeswax enters quickly, smooth and golden, while osmanthus adds a soft fruitiness that leans into the honey accord already forming. Hinoki wood keeps the heart from becoming a flat sweetness by adding a dry, resinous edge that feels close to the bark it comes from. The composition stays aromatic and green even as the heavier elements arrive, which is why the sweetness never cloys.
The base is where the argument settles. Propolis and tonka bean deepen the honey theme into something balsamic and warm, but civet pulls the entire structure toward the animalic accord.
