Our take

Ojra opens with a pepper note that bites harder than expected. The white pepper sits sharp against the citrus, and the finger lime adds a sour edge that some will find abrasive. Coconut appears early but feels thin, more like a whisper than a creamy presence. The orange and pear try to soften the entry, yet the spice keeps pushing forward.

Iris butter gives the heart a smooth, slightly powdery texture. Osmanthus brings a soft apricot tone that pairs with the plum, though the almond stays quiet throughout. Peony adds a light floral lift that prevents the center from feeling too heavy. Patchouli anchors the base with an earthy depth, while cedar and amber provide a warm, balsamic finish. White musk keeps the closing gentle rather than loud.

The peppery opening remains the hurdle here. It can feel unbalanced next to the sweeter fruit, and the coconut never fully rounds out the sharp edges. People who dislike prominent spice will struggle with the first impression. The drydown is pleasant, but the initial roughness limits how often this feels like an easy choice.
