Oud Altius
Fragrance notes
Character
Oud Altius asks patience at the start. The raspberry and cinnamon open with a sharp, candied edge that can feel a little loud before the spices settle. Cardamom rounds the entry, but the first minutes lean sweet and slightly synthetic, which may put off anyone who prefers a dry, reserved start.
Once the heart takes over, frankincense and rose steady the blend, with saffron and amber adding a golden, resinous weight. Iris brings a soft powder that keeps the florals from turning heavy. In the base, oud and sandalwood carry real presence, supported by musk and leather that linger far beyond a typical evening out, while vanilla smooths the edges without making the mix sugary. The scent stays close enough to be noticed in a conversation without overwhelming the room. It suits cooler nights when the air is crisp and a jacket is needed, wrapping the wearer in a warm, resinous cloud that feels substantial against the dark. A lit censer in a wood-paneled room.
