The initial spray brings a slightly sharp, fruity sweetness from the apricot and apple, but these notes are quickly swallowed by the heart of the fragrance. A massive bouquet of Turkish and Bulgarian roses emerges, not smelling dewy or fresh, but dried, powdered, and almost candied. This rose-oud combination is classic, yet here it leans heavily into the "balsamic" accord, creating a scent profile that feels like inhaling the warm, scented air of a room filled with burning incense and old, polished wood.
