Louna opens with black currant and apple brightened by a sharp crack of black pepper. The fruit reads juicy rather than candy-like, and the pepper gives it a clean lift that keeps the start from leaning too heavy. It moves quickly into a dense rose heart built from Bulgarian, Moroccan, and Turkish varieties, with ambergris smoothing the edges so the flowers feel rounded and slightly salty.
The rose dominates the middle stage. It is full and slightly indolic, sitting close to the skin in texture while the ambergris adds a faintly marine softness. This part of the composition feels traditional and heavy, leaning into the oriental floral label without trying to modernize the flower with green or citrus support.
The base gathers opoponax, amber, Assam oud, sandalwood, vanilla, tobacco, coffee, and bushman candle. Oud and tobacco lead, followed by the resinous weight of opoponax and the cream of sandalwood. Vanilla and coffee add a dark sweetness that blends into the balsamic accord, while bushman candle pushes the animalic facet further.
