Pray opens with a sharp, resinous lift. Elemi leads alongside pink pepper and juniper berries, giving the first impression a dry, green bite that feels more like crushed twigs than candy. The entrance is brisk and slightly medicinal, never sweet or soft.
The center shifts toward smoke and petals. Incense rises through rose and peony, and the flowers do not turn the blend pretty so much as they steady the resin. It stays dry, with a faintly dusty texture that keeps the air around it calm and measured.
Patchouli, musk, and amber settle in last. The patchouli carries an earthy depth, the musk smooths the edges, and the amber adds a warm, balsamic glow without pushing the mix into dessert territory. It feels aromatic and woody, with a faint spicy hum that lingers close to the skin.
