Prodigy Noir
Fragrance notes
Character
Prodigy Noir opens with a bright apricot and bergamot pairing that feels juicy and immediate. The fruit is clear and slightly tart, giving the first minutes a lifted, energetic start. It does not linger long before the heart takes over, moving the fragrance into a much heavier space.
The middle blends caramel, tonka bean, chocolate, and rose into a dense, sugary accord. The chocolate and caramel lead, while the rose adds a soft floral curve that keeps the sweetness from becoming completely flat. As the fragrance settles, vanilla, amber, cashmeran, cedar, and musk form a warm, powdery base. The vanilla and amber dominate here, supported by the woody cashmeran and cedar. The musk smooths the edges and makes the drydown feel rounded. The texture is sweet and slightly dusty, with the aromatic spice from the top notes long gone. It suits cooler evenings when the air feels heavy, creating a cozy, gourmand impression that surrounds the wearer in a blanket of warmth.
The composition is very sweet throughout the later stages, and the gourmand heaviness can become overwhelming if applied with a generous hand. It lacks a fresh or green counterpoint to balance the dense vanilla and caramel, which limits how often it feels appropriate to wear.
