Then the agarwood steps in, not the barnyard monster, but a clean, almost cedar-like oud that gets shouldered by Virginia cedar and a faint, green geranium. The heart is where this fragrance lives: a dry, woody core that feels more like polished burl wood than raw resin. As it dries down, vetiver and guaiac wood stretch into a smoky, papery base with musk anchoring everything close to the skin. The overall character is a dusty leather saddle left to warm in a shaded stable, noble but not flashy.
