Sinan
Fragrance notes
Character
Sinan opens with green mandarin and bergamot, bright and slightly tart, joined by gingergrass that adds a fresh, green edge. The citrus feels clean rather than sweet, giving the entrance a crisp character that moves quickly into the deeper parts of the composition.
The heart brings jasmine and amber together with patchouli. The white floral note is soft and rounded, while the amber adds warmth and the patchouli contributes an earthy depth. This stage feels balanced between floral lightness and resinous weight.
Cedar, benzoin, musk and sandalwood form a woody, powdery base. The cedar and sandalwood provide dry wood tones, the benzoin adds a gentle resinous sweetness, and the musk smooths the texture. The overall impression is amber, musky and woody with a powdery finish.
Sinan suits evening wear, where its warm amber and soft jasmine feel appropriate against low indoor lighting and a calm atmosphere. The composition stays close to its core character throughout. The one limitation is that the citrus top feels brief, and the gingergrass loses its clarity once the amber and patchouli take over.
