Sun Goddess is a solar hit that burns fast and fades before the afterglow. Nathalie Lorson opens with frangipani and orange blossom in full, creamy bloom, like the first bite of a ripe mango on a blistering beach. The heart turns soft and almost shy: heliotrope dusts the jasmine sambac with almond powder, while a lactonic undertone keeps everything from tipping into screech territory. The dry-down is warm vanilla sandalwood, but here’s the rub: it arrives quickly and leaves faster. With longevity barely cresting three and sillage hovering just above intimate (that 2.56 is generous), Sun Goddess is less a full golden arc and more a flash of sunlight through clouds, beautiful and fleeting.
This is not a fragrance for the boardroom or a winter gala. It’s a spring afternoon sundress, a brunch on a terrace where nobody minds reapplying. The 100% summer and 73% day votes tell the story: it lives for warmth and daylight, and it knows it.
