Our take

Terra opens with a sharp slap of cypress and bergamot, a brief green shiver that quickly retreats as the caramel and labdanum rise to the surface. This is not a fragrance that hesitates. Within minutes it settles into a dense, warm amber core with cedar providing a dry skeleton and the caramel adding a sticky, almost gourmand sweetness that never quite tips into cloying. The vetiver and musk in the base ground everything in a soft, powdery hum, while jasmine threads a faint floral whisper through the woody darkness. The overall effect is like stepping into a cabin after a snowstorm, boots wet, fire crackling, a wool blanket smelling of resin and old wood and something faintly sweet on your skin.

Longevity clocks in around six to eight hours with sillage that stays close, a comfortable arm’s-length presence rather than a room-filling announcement. That moderate projection is the main weakness here for anyone wanting to announce their arrival. The character feels more mainstream niche than designer, polished but not synthetic, though the caramel note errs on the sweeter side of natural. This is a cold-weather scent through and through, built for winter nights when you want to smell like a warm pocket of air. It suits someone who likes their sweetness tempered by wood and earth, but those who shy away from powdery or gourmand touches should skip it. Wear it to a fireside dinner, a late walk in December, anywhere the chill demands a little comfort.
