Our take

Orange meets jasmine at the start, bright and soft at the same time. Bay leaf adds a green, slightly peppery edge that keeps the opening from feeling too sweet. Guaiac wood brings a dry, smoke-kissed texture that anchors the heart. Oakmoss settles in with a cool, shaded depth that feels natural rather than polished.

Lemon reappears in the base, sharp and clean, layered over the salt-air lift of ambergris. Patchouli grounds the finish with an earthy weight that stops the citrus from floating away. The whole composition feels like a garden path after rain, where wet stone meets crushed herbs and sun-warmed citrus trees.

Rudi Gabriel Bedy composed this masculine release for L'Ateliero in 2020. It suits someone who likes a fresh scent with an earthy backbone and a floral touch. It is at home near open water when the air is warm and the light is clear. You can picture a linen shirt drying on a balcony that overlooks a harbor full of masts.
