Yuzu and pink grapefruit burst out first, bright and slightly fizzy from the aldehydes. Mint and eucalyptus add a cool, clean edge that keeps the citrus from feeling heavy. Lavender enters soon after, soft and slightly powdery, with peony lending a gentle floral lift. Rhubarb brings a tart, green snap that cuts through the sweetness of the opening.
Cade oil and cypriol ground the blend with a dry, smoky woodiness. Balsam fir adds a resinous, forest-like depth that lingers as the brighter notes settle. Musk smooths the edges without turning the scent creamy or soft. The overall impression is crisp and vertical, like walking through a grove where citrus trees grow beside conifers.
The composition holds its presence well through a full day of wear, sitting near the body rather than projecting outward. Its one real limitation is the rhubarb and mint combination, which can feel sharply synthetic on skin after the first hour. That sharpness may bother those who prefer fully natural-smelling greens.
