Canto da Floresta
Fragrance notes
Character
The door opens onto a courtyard where the air is cool and the stone walls hold the evening damp. Orange blossom and pear arrive first, bright and slightly humid, like fruit carried through a garden after rain. The flowers feel fresh rather than heavy, and the fruit adds a crisp edge that keeps the opening from settling into something flat.
Jasmine and bitter almond soon step forward, the almond giving a dry, faintly sharp line that runs through the white petals. Licorice weaves between them, adding a soft spicy lift that feels more like a shadow than a bold statement. The heart stays powdery and floral, but the almond keeps it from turning completely soft.
Vanilla and cashmeran form a warm, woody base that rests close to the skin. Copahu balm and cedar add a balsamic, slightly resinous depth, while patchouli grounds the blend with an earthy, amber-tinged murmur. The sweetness is present, yet the woods and the balm keep it from becoming a simple sugar trail.
The scent lingers in the air of a narrow stone path where a single lantern throws a amber glow across wet leaves and the wooden bench beneath it.
