Our take

Masala chai sits right in the heart of Omnia, and it shows: cardamom, cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg stack up exactly like a cup of the real thing, sweetened at the base by almond and white chocolate rather than sugar itself. Ginger, pepper and saffron give the opening a warm, slightly hot spice kick, and mandarin orange adds a bright citrus lift right out of the bottle, gone again almost as fast as it appears.

Sandalwood, tonka bean and guaiac wood settle in underneath by the drydown, turning the chai spice into something rounder and softer, lotus barely noticeable against all that spice and wood.

Staying power holds at an average level, present through wear and softening on its own schedule. Sillage stays modest, a warm spiced cloud that surfaces for anyone seated right beside you.

Fall is its clear high point, with winter close behind and summer where it fades into something much fainter, the chai warmth reading better against cooler air than heat. Omnia earns its keep through that spice accord alone, smelling remarkably like the drink it echoes.
