Najaf
Fragrance notes
The air in the small room is heavy with heated wood and dried fruit. Najaf opens with oud and bright raspberry, strawberry, orange, and apple pressing into the air at once. The fruit is thick and dark, not fresh, more like a bowl of sliced pieces resting near a burning resin block.
Patchouli enters with amber, cardamom, and cinnamon. The spices are dry and warm, curling through the heavier base that already feels present. Labdanum and vanilla add a rounded weight, while incense pushes a thin gray line through the center of the blend.
Musk settles across the surface, pulling the sweeter elements close to the skin. The powdery accord softens the sharper edges of the cinnamon and the bitter edge of the oud. It feels composed and still, a blend that sits in one place rather than moving through stages.
The floor is covered in woven rugs, and a brass dish holds a single piece of burning agarwood that releases a steady, dark thread of smoke into the quiet air.
