The heavy glass sits on a wooden dresser while a radiator hums in the corner of a cold room. A thumb presses the sprayer and a cloud of lavender and mint lands on a wool sweater. Cardamom and bergamot brighten the air immediately, then orange blossom and cinnamon warm the fabric as the minutes pass. The scent stays near the body, moving just far enough to greet someone who steps close, and it remains on the sleeve long after the window fog clears.
Caraway adds a dry edge to the heart, keeping the orange blossom from becoming a flat candy note. Vanilla and tonka bean build slowly beneath the spice, supported by sandalwood and cedar that ground the blend. Amber wraps the woods in a soft glow that feels steady rather than loud. The fragrance holds to the knit fibers and the skin beneath them, refusing to vanish when the afternoon fades.
Francis Kurkdjian composed this oriental fougere to feel like a small globe shaken on a winter night, where vanilla snow swirls around a warm figure that never drifts far from the glass.
