Oud d'Angkor
Fragrance notes
Character
African geranium opens with a sharp, green bite that cuts through the cool air outside a stone temple. Pimento adds a dry heat that prickles the nose without ever feeling like food. Chamomile sits quietly underneath, offering a soft herbal calm that keeps the entrance from becoming too aggressive.
Atlas cedar provides a dry, pencil-shaving woodiness that feels grounded and ancient. Saffron threads a metallic, golden shimmer through the heart, catching the light in a dark room. Myrrh contributes a resinous, slightly medicinal weight that anchors the middle phase firmly to the earth.
Cypriol and vetiver pull the composition into a damp, rooty soil that smells of rain on pavement. Labdanum and patchouli create a thick, amber blanket that wraps around the skin with heavy resin. Oud arrives last, a dark and medicinal wood that defines the entire drydown with its earthy, balsamic presence.
