Mandarin Oolong Tea 1.0
Fragrance notes
Character
Sunlight warms the terrace table where a ceramic cup of oolong sits beside a plate of sliced mandarin oranges. The air carries the bright, juicy spray of mandarin orange and orange, their citrus oils mixing with the steeped, slightly grassy character of tea. A dusting of nutmeg adds a gentle, fresh spicy lift that keeps the fruit from feeling flat.
Fig rounds out the citrus with a soft, fruity sweetness that feels like pulp and skin rather than candy. Iso E Super and musk wrap the scene in a clean, powdery haze that reads more like clean linen than heavy animalic fur. The woody accord grounds the fruit so the scent stays upright instead of collapsing into a simple juice.
Bergamot brightens the edges while a green thread runs through the blend, making the entire composition feel like a garden in motion. The amber accord is present but quiet, offering a faint warmth that never turns syrupy. Everything here smells natural and approachable, a casual mix of fruit and steeped leaves.
The one limitation is the nutmeg, which can tilt sharp and scratchy when the air moves, cutting through the calm tea with a sudden dry bite that feels out of place.
