Whisky Black
Fragrance notes
Character
Whisky Black opens with lime, bergamot and grapefruit that feel bright and immediate. The citrus is clean rather than sharp, and it carries a faint aquatic freshness that keeps the start light on the skin. It does not project outward, so the opening stays personal from the first spray. The citrus accord moves quickly and does not demand attention in a room. This is a scent that sits quietly while you go about a morning walk or a casual outdoor errand under open sky.
The drydown gives the fragrance its real identity. Tonka bean and guaiac wood create a soft woody vanilla that feels smooth and mildly sweet. Musk adds a clean cushion underneath the wood, and the aromatic and amber accents round out the finish without adding weight. The composition stays close throughout, and the citrus fades early so the base can take over. The tonka and guaiac wood are pleasant, but the blend leans thin and never develops real depth or texture. It smells agreeable and tidy, yet it lacks the richness that would make it memorable once the initial freshness disappears.
