Our take

There is something almost apologetic about Tears From The Moon, as though the fragrance itself knows it cannot shout. Alberto Morillas gives us a peony that opens with a delicate, almost watery blush, then quickly hands the stage to lily of the valley, that green bell of a flower that smells more like damp earth and crushed stems than actual petals. The stephanotis in the base adds a creamy, slightly waxy quality, but it never grows into a full white floral roar. The whole thing feels like a single white blossom floating in a rain puddle, pristine but already starting to dissolve. That is its charm and its limitation.

With longevity barely grazing three hours and sillage that stays close to the skin, this is not a fragrance you wear to be noticed. It is a spring morning ritual, the kind of scent you mist on after a shower, then forget about. The fresh green accord keeps it from turning cloying, but the synthetic edge feels a bit too clean, like a hotel soap that pretends to be natural. It suits someone who wants a whisper of floral rather than a statement, someone who sprays for themselves and not for the room. If you expect projection or endurance, skip this.

Wear it on a bright April afternoon with a light jacket, or on a cool summer evening when you want to smell like you just walked through a garden gate. It is a subtle, feminine ghost of a fragrance, and that ghost will vanish long before you do.
