Fragrance notes
Character
Bitter orange and rosemary sharpen what would otherwise be a fairly ordinary citrus opening, orange blossom adding a soft, slightly floral edge on top before the citrus fades into the background fairly quickly.
Almond and tonka bean take over in the heart, and this is really the identity of the whole fragrance, warm, sweet and nutty like marzipan, pulling attention away from the citrus that opened it.
Leather, cedar and vetiver bring a dry, woody base underneath, cutting through the almond sweetness with something rougher and more grounded, keeping the composition centered on wood rather than pure sugar. Skin chemistry plays a real role too: on some people the almond dominates for the whole wear, while on others the leather and cedar come through much sooner. Sillage holds a small, steady bubble, and longevity settles into a middle gear, present but not assertive at any point.
This reads as an easy, versatile everyday scent, built more around its almond-woody balance than around any single moment to wear it. Anyone who likes almond and tonka warmth anchored by dry, woody structure over straightforward sweetness will get plenty of use here; those wanting a sharp, purely citrus cologne should look elsewhere.
