The opening brings blackberry leaf and litchi together in a bright, slightly green fruit pairing. The leaf adds a crisp edge that keeps the litchi from leaning fully sweet. It moves quickly, giving way to the heart within a short span.
Jasmine and rose carry the middle, with cypriol adding a dry, earthy line through the florals. The flowers feel smooth rather than heady, and the cypriol keeps the blend from turning soft. This stage stays close, wrapping near the skin as the notes settle.
The base takes most of the space. Ambroxan and musk build a warm, musky amber that feels smooth and slightly powdery. Leather and cedar add a dry, woody texture that grounds the tonka bean. The tonka gives a gentle sweetness, but the leather and cedar keep it from becoming plush. This drydown lingers through the day, steady and present without reaching outward.
The composition works best in bright, active settings where a near, musky wood feels natural. The clear limitation is the leather. It reads sharp and a bit animalic, and that edge can feel abrasive to anyone who prefers a clean, soft finish.
