Character
The spice blend here is busy to the point of distraction. Cumin and nutmeg crowd the opening alongside pink pepper and cinnamon, creating a haze that feels more cluttered than composed. It is difficult to pick out a single thread before another one rushes in to cover it.
The heart settles into oud and patchouli with nagarmotha and cypriol adding a dry, earthy weight. Frankincense and Himalayan cedar give it a resinous, churchy air that pairs well with a heavy coat and the dim glow of a street lit by old lamps. Caramel and amber in the base try to soften the edges, but the rose and myrrh keep it leaning into the dark, balsamic side of sweet rather than the playful one.
White musk lingers at the edges of the resin, though it never fully clears the heavy spice that defined the start. The same crowded opening that makes the first few minutes feel messy is still the reason this fragrance will not work for someone who prefers a clear, single-note path through a scent.
