The late afternoon sun cuts across a wooden cabin porch. Lemon and lavender drift from a shirt sleeve, bright and brief, joined by the clean bite of pine and the faint green edge of tarragon. Artemisia adds a cool, slightly bitter lift that keeps the opening from feeling sweet. It is a crisp entrance, gone before the air fully settles.
Black pepper cracks across the middle, sharp and dry. Rose oil and geranium bring a soft floral layer that never turns powdery, while cloves add a warm, faintly medicinal heat. Leather sits underneath, smooth and slightly worn, like the surface of an old chair. The heart feels busy but balanced, each note nudging the others without taking over.
Amber Alive rests into amber, moss, and patchouli. The amber is golden and resinous, not sugary, wrapped in the damp earth of moss and the dark weight of patchouli. The leather from earlier now feels embedded in that base, giving the drydown a rugged, forest-floor character. It is herbal, woody, and deeply warm, with the citrus and lavender long faded into memory.
