Aura by Asad Siddiki opens with bright citruses that provide a clean, immediate introduction. This initial impression is brief and serves only to lead into the heart of the composition. The transition moves quickly from the fresh top into the more substantial floral core, setting a stage that feels prepared for the heavier elements waiting beneath.
The heart features tuberose, jasmine, and neroli working in unison. The tuberose is prominent here, lending a creamy and heady quality to the air. Jasmine adds a rich, indolic depth, while neroli offers a slight orange blossom brightness to keep the white floral theme from becoming too dense. As the fragrance develops, the base notes of musk, patchouli, and oakmoss begin to take control. The musk provides a skin-like softness, but the oakmoss and patchouli introduce an earthy, damp character. This foundation pulls the scent away from a standard fresh floral and pushes it toward an animalic, grounded territory that feels heavy on the skin.
The inclusion of oakmoss and patchouli gives Aura a distinctly earthy finish that some will find challenging.
