Our take

The opening of Seductive Goddess is a flirty slap of citrus and bergamot, bright and candied, but it knows exactly where it’s going. Within minutes the violet and rose step in, powdery and a little retro, like a vintage compact left open in a warm room. The heart leans heavily into that powder, but underneath it the patchouli and labdanum are already stirring, sticky and dark. By the dry down the leather and vanilla have taken over, smooth and slightly synthetic in that early 2000s way, like a black patent clutch that’s been sitting next to a spilled bottle of body spray. The overall impression is a night out in 2008: glitter on the collarbones, a borrowed leather jacket, and the faint, sweet smear of lip gloss on a champagne flute.

This is a heavy, sweet fragrance with a balsamic backbone, and it wears close to the skin. The sillage is modest, more of a whisper than a shout, and longevity settles around four hours before fading into a vanilla skin scent. It feels undeniably mainstream, a little loud in the top notes but soft and almost tender in its final moments. If you crave airy florals or crisp citrus, skip it. Seductive Goddess is for the person who wants a cozy, slightly musky comfort scent with just enough edge to feel dressed up. Best worn on cold winter nights, layered over a turtleneck or tucked into the collar of a coat, when you want to smell like warmth and a hint of trouble.
