Bella Donna
Fragrance notes
Character
The bright morning sun hits the terrace table where a glass of iced tea sits untouched. Bella Donna opens with a sharp spray of bergamot and orange that feels like the first cool sip of that drink. The citrus is vivid and immediate, cutting through the warm air with a clean, juicy clarity that wakes up the senses.
As the air settles, the heart of the fragrance unfolds into a dense garden of white petals. Tuberose and orange blossom rise together, heavy and creamy, while heliotrope and ylang-ylang add a soft, powdery sweetness. It creates a lush, almost waxy floral atmosphere that surrounds the immediate space with a traditional femininity.
Beneath the flowers, sandalwood provides a smooth, pale wood foundation that keeps the blend grounded. Musk adds a skin-like warmth that pulls the bright opening and the rich heart into a single, cohesive cloud. The overall impression is a sweet, green, and slightly animalic white floral that feels polished and deliberate.
The composition is undeniably pretty, but the synthetic edge on the orange blossom occasionally clashes with the natural creaminess of the tuberose. This artificial sharpness prevents the floral bouquet from feeling completely seamless. The blend lacks a certain depth in its middle register.
