Our take

The sun is high over a stone courtyard where a wooden bench sits beneath a row of lemon trees. Someone lowers themselves onto the seat and the air around them shifts. Bright bergamot leads immediately, sharp and clean, followed closely by the crunch of fresh apple and the dark juice of black currant. The fruit is vivid but not sweet enough to feel like candy. Rose and jasmine rise through the center, soft and slightly powdery, while patchouli adds a damp, earthy weight that keeps the flowers from floating away. A thin line of birch gives the air a dry, charcoal edge. White musk and vanilla begin to wrap the scene in a smooth, pale blanket, with amber lending a gentle warmth and oakmoss holding everything to the ground.

The blend feels modern and approachable, sitting comfortably between a fresh citrus and a cozy skin scent. The materials are pleasant, yet the patchouli and oakmoss lack the depth that would make the earthiness truly convincing. The amber and vanilla provide a creamy foundation, but the overall composition stays safely in the middle, never daring to surprise. It is a clean, easy presence in the courtyard, though the synthetic edge of the musk occasionally clashes with the natural brightness of the fruit. The rose feels a bit flat here, lacking the dimension that would lift the entire arrangement beyond a standard daytime option.
