BLUE CITRUS opens with a bright, immediate rush of bergamot, lemon, and petitgrain. Terranol adds a clean, slightly synthetic edge to the citrus that keeps the start sharp rather than juicy. The heart moves into neroli and lavender, supported by clary sage, nutmeg, and a small amount of cinnamon. The spices stay in the background and do not warm the composition in a noticeable way. Clary sage and lavender give the center a dry, herbal character that sits next to the white floral tone of the neroli without letting it turn soft. The base brings Indonesian patchouli leaf, amber, and guaiac wood. The patchouli is earthy and green, the guaiac wood is dry, and the amber adds a faint rounded feel, though it never becomes sweet or heavy.
The overall impression is fresh, aromatic, and woody with a clear green thread running through it. It suits warm, sunlit days when the air feels open and active, and it works just as well during mild afternoons in spring and early fall. The blend stays clean and masculine without leaning into sharpness or aggression. The limitation is the amber. It feels thin and underdeveloped here, offering very little depth or richness to balance the dry herbs and woods. The base could use more weight and texture, because as it stands the amber does not give the fragrance a proper foundation.
