Our take

Pomegranate and yuzu open Bright Crystal Absolu with a tart, watery brightness, helped along by actual water notes that push the whole thing into fresh, aquatic territory before it's even had time to develop. It sits at an average pace for staying power, present through normal wear without much complaint, and the sillage stays gentle and close, an easy cloud felt mainly by whoever's close by. Peony and raspberry sweeten things through the heart, joined by lotus for a watery-floral undertone that never gets heavy. Yuzu keeps returning faintly between the florals, a small citrus pulse that stops the sweetness from ever fully taking over.

Magnolia gives the floral heart some structure, adding a creamy, slightly green note against the raspberry's sweetness. By the base, musk and mahogany bring quiet warmth, and amber adds enough depth to carry the fragrance past its fruity, aquatic opening.

It's an easy, pretty, warm-weather floral, built for daytime wear more than anything after dark, light and fruity without asking much of the wearer. Alberto Morillas gets the perfumer credit here, and the whole composition reads as a polished, uncomplicated update on a familiar fruity-floral shape.
