Brook opens with a bright mix of peach, wild berries, apple, and citruses that feels immediate and uplifting. The fruit is sweet but not heavy, and the citrus adds a clean edge that keeps the start from leaning too far into candy. As the fragrance develops, peony, lily-of-the-valley, lavender, and rose form a soft floral heart. The lavender sits gently among the petals rather than dominating, while the rose adds a familiar depth that ties the bouquet together. Powdery notes begin to show here, moving the scent toward a smoother, drier texture. In the base, musk and sandalwood create a warm, slightly creamy finish that still feels light on the skin. The overall impression is fresh, floral, and faintly woody, with a green touch that keeps it from becoming too soft.
The composition stays very close to the skin, which makes it easy to wear in close company or in warm weather without overwhelming anyone nearby. The main limitation is that the notes can blur together after a short time. The fruit, the flowers, and the powdery base do not stay clearly defined, so the later stages lose some of the clarity that makes the opening appealing.
