Fragrance notes
Character
The club terrace is quiet after the match, the air cool and scented with fallen leaves and damp stone. A glass of dark tea rests on the table, its steam carrying a thread of rose that feels careful rather than lush. Beneath it, cinnamon and saffron warm the edges of the scene without ever becoming loud. White tobacco drifts through the heart, dry and slightly coarse, while a resinous smoke lifts from a nearby fireplace and settles into the fabric of a wool coat. Oud and castoreum arrive slowly, not as a statement but as a shadow, lending an animalic weight that keeps the florals from floating away. Vetiver grounds the moment with an earthy, rooty calm, and vanilla softens the sharper edges just enough to make the smoke feel invited rather than intrusive.
The composition is dense and handsome, yet the lily-of-the-valley feels oddly placed here, its crispness clashing with the heavy resins instead of brightening them. That single misstep makes the blend feel slightly unresolved, as if two different rooms were joined without adjusting the lighting. The result is compelling but not seamless, and anyone who dislikes that sharp green intrusion will find the fragrance difficult to wear despite its otherwise rich and textured character.
