Palisander rosewood rounds out the top with a dry, polished wood tone that keeps the spices from feeling festive. The heart shifts toward a supple leather that carries the saffron’s golden edge and myrrh’s resinous weight. This is not a bright or creamy leather. It is dark, slightly bitter, and anchored by the smoke and burnt match notes that follow. Patchouli and Haitian vetiver deepen the shadow, while Bulgarian rose offers a faint, powdered floral lift that never softens the overall mood.
