Our take

This is Lattafa’s attempt at a bonfire in a blizzard, and the premise is more compelling than the execution. It opens with a boozy blast of cognac and cinnamon that feels genuinely warm, almost reckless, before a sticky raspberry note barges in like someone spilling syrup on a leather jacket. That fruity sweetness lingers through the heart, where rose petals and caramel try to civilize the chaos but end up creating a jammy, cloying paste. The moss and myrrh in the base are supposed to ground it, and they do, but the oak and cedarwood feel dry and polite next to the syrupy mess upstairs. Ambroxan adds a faint, clean fuzz.

The overall image is a half-melted whiskey candy dropped into a pile of autumn leaves: intriguing, sticky, but a bit messy. This is a thick, heavy, synthetic sweet scent that leans mainstream in its push for crowd-pleasing gourmand warmth, but it lacks the balance of a niche blend. Longevity is average at 3.43, and sillage is quiet at 3.00, which might be a blessing since the raspberry-caramel duet can wear out its welcome after two hours. It suits someone who wants a cozy, sweet winter hug for casual evenings or a cold day scarf spritzer. Skip it if you prefer clean, airy, or genuinely smoky scents, or if you have low tolerance for fruity sweetness that never quite matures. Where does the “ice” actually show up? Nowhere I can smell.
