Fragrance notes
The sun sits low over a quiet courtyard where terracotta walls hold the day’s warmth. Someone stands near a wooden bench, and the air around them carries Jeehan. Bright bergamot and lemon meet rosemary in a crisp opening that feels like light hitting dry leaves. Cedar enters early, its clean edges giving the citrus a firm shape. The scene stays small and contained, the kind of moment that asks for stillness rather than movement.
Guaiac wood deepens the atmosphere as the scent settles closer to the skin. The cedar from the opening continues into this part of the composition, now paired with a resinous weight that feels smooth rather than sharp. Amber adds a golden tone that blends with the resins, creating a soft glow against the wood. The aromatic and powdery facets sit together without competing, and the spicy side of the fragrance stays gentle, more of a hum than a statement.
Musk threads through the base, making the amber and resins feel rounded and close. The warm spicy accord lingers in the background while the woody character remains the clear focus. Obaidullah Anfar composed this 2024 release to stay within a narrow emotional register, and it does exactly that here in the courtyard as the air cools and the walls keep their heat.
