Caroline Dumur built the top from sudachi citrus, mandarin orange, orange, and lemon, then let orange blossom, neroli, and rose carry the heart. That bright, white floral core is the reason to wear it during a warm morning walk or while sitting near an open window with sunlight on the table. The vanilla in the base adds a soft sweetness that keeps the citrus from feeling sharp, and the cedar gives the flowers a clean, woody floor to rest on.
The moderate wear means you will need to reapply during a long day, but that is part of the ritual rather than a failure.
